- You have been prescribed Vymada 100mg for the treatment of of long-term heart failure which occurs when the heart is weak and cannot pump enough blood to the lungs and the rest of the body.
- It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
- It may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.

Side Effects of Vymada are Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Renal impairment, Decreased blood pressure, Cough, Dizziness, Altered levels of potassium in blood, Diarrhoea, Decrease in red blood cell count, Headache, Fainting, Weakness, Nausea, Stomach pain, Decreased sugar level in blood, Vertigo.

What is Valsartan for?
This medication is an angiotensin II receptor blocker, prescribed for hypertension, congestive heart failure and myocardial infarction (heart attack). It works by relaxing the blood vessels.
How does Valsartan work?
Valsartan lowers blood pressure by lowering a strong chemical in the body. It helps the heart work better.
How should Valsartan be used?
It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food. Adult: PO HTN Initial: 80 mg once daily, up to 160 mg once daily. Max: 320 days. Post-MI Initial: 20 mg twice daily, up to 160 mg bid if tolerated.
